Eucalyptus olida, also known as the Strawberry Gum, is endemic to the Northern Tablelands of New South Wales but cultivated in regions further south. The indigenous Australians who passed through the Northern Tablelands would often chew on the leaves of the Strawberry Gum for their sweet berry flavour. This bush tucker gem has a host of health benefits, which include antioxidant, anti-fungal & antibiotic properties. It has been shown to help balance micro flora of the gut.
