Jenny Brockie, one of Australia's most gifted & sought-after forum facilitators, is an Australian journalist & documentary-maker, currently working as the host for SBS program, Insight. She began her career with ABC television & radio news & has spent more than 20 years in current affairs broadcasting, including Four Corners & Nationwide.
Jenny’s feature-length television documentaries have won various awards. Her film Cop It Sweetabout Sydney's Redfern police won the coveted 1992 Gold Walkley, a 1992 AFI Award for Best Television Documentary, a Logie Award, a Human Rights Award & the NSW Law Society Award.
In 2008, Jenny received a United Nations Association of Australia Media Peace Award for her work on Insight.
Morris Gleitzman is an English-born Australian author of children's & young adult fiction. He has gained recognition for sparking an interest in AIDS with young readers in his 1990 controversial novel Two Weeks with the Queen.
He has collaborated on children's series with another Australian children's author, Paul Jennings. His latest book in the Once series, Maybe, was released in 2017, however his most well known & successful books are the Toad series. Gleitzman has also published three collections of his newspaper columns for The Age & The Sydney Morning Herald, & wrote for the popular Norman Gunston Show in the 1970s. In February 2018 Gleitzman was named the Australian Children's Laureate for 2018-2019.
